- Zaisan Hill
One of the best instagramable places, Zaisan hill monuments is famous for being the viewpoint of the city, located southern part of Ulaanbaatar. From the top of the Zaisan hill will give you the whole of Ulaanbaatar’s panoramic view. You either can climb up the stairs or pass through the glass bridge of Zaisan hill entertainment center. More than being instagramable, if you take photos on Zaisan hill including Ulaanbaatar city or Bogd Khan mountain it will give you a great atmosphere to your pictures.
2. Choijin Lama temple museum
Looking for something more authentic? Maybe Choijin Lama temple museum can give you that. Surrounded by tall modern buildings, Choijin lama temple museum is a great spot for fabulous instagram shots. There you can capture combination of the past and present. Entrance fee is 8500 MNT but photography and video making will cost you a little bit more.
3. Bogd Khan Palace museum

5. National amusement park
The National amusement park or Children Park is located in south of Shangri-La hotel and mall. The park has kind of atmosphere of 1980’s since as the most of the rides are from Soviet era. Highlights of the amusement park would be ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and the Castle on the lake. There is no entrance fee.
6. Ulaanbaatar train station
The Ulaanbaatar train station is another great spot to snap instargam pictures. The station has only 2 railways and will remind you past, Soviet era. Even the famous Korean Drama Crash Landing on you filmed here in Ulaanbaatar train station. The trains are too, can be a great background for your insta shots.
7. National garden park
The national garden park is located southern area of Ulaanbaatar. The park is relatively new but always sprawling with visitors specially the young generations. If you want to take some street fashion photos or catch the Visco vibe the National Garden Park is the go-to place. The Park has a bike route, skateboarding arena, food courts, artificial lake, and more. Furthermore, despite being located in the biggest urban city of Mongolia, the Garden Park has its own wildlife such as fox, marmot, goose, and more.
