This tour is for people who want to explore the depth of nomads day to day life. On this trip, you will spend 5 nights with 2 different nomad families. The first family is an ordinary nomad family who lives along the Khuwsgul lake. The second family is Tsaatan or reindeer herders in the taiga forest. You will be astonished by how resourceful these nomads are and how different they are from each other. If you want to free your mind and soul from hectic city life this trip is for you.

Upon your arrival at Chingis Khaan International Airport, your guide and driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Early morning after breakfast you will drive to Khuwsgul lake, it may take about 10 hours long drive. However, you will enjoy the spring scenery of Mongolia and its emptiness.

Today you will meet with a nomad family who lives near the Khuwsgul lake. You will start your day milking the yak and making the tea with nomads which is the very first task of every nomad family in Mongolia. Enjoy the first day with nomads and have a good night in your 5 million-star hotel.Â

Early morning you will drive to Taiga forest to meet with the Tsaatan family. You will notice how different these families are and their daily tasks as well. Enjoy your day riding the reindeer and having selfies with them.

Taiga is mysterious also full of tranquility at the same time. Today you will do a short hike to the peak of the mountain to refresh yourself. You will help nomads all day along, in the night you will experience a shamanic ceremony with the family.Â

1.Travelers are required to have proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 either, recovery or a negative COVID-19 test certification or any kind of valid documents. Children aged 6-17 must present.Â
3. Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our driver will pick you up from the airport or train station and take you to your hotel. On this day depending on your arrival time city tour is available. And the last day of your tour our driver will take you to the airport, and a city tour is not included.
4. A single supplement is available if you want to use a room just for yourself. If you want a single supplement please make an inquiry with our booking manager. The single supplement is 70$ per night.
