Tour itinerary
In the early morning, we will pick you up, and take you to the airport for the flight to Dalanzadgad city, the capital of South Gobi. The flight will continue for 1 hour and once you landed in Dalanzadgad your local guide and driver will pick you up.
First, you will visit the Lammergeier Valley – Yoliin Am. Visit the nature museum, and ride a horse for 1 hour. We will have a picnic in Yoliin Am while gazing at the beautiful canyon.
Then we will drive to Khongor sand dunes.
The road is only 180km, but due to its bad condition, it will take 4-5 hours to reach the Khongor sand dunes. Upon your arrival, we will climb to the highest point of sand dunes, enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Check in to tourist ger camp and later that night you can gaze at the millions of stars in the sky along with the milky way.

After breakfast, we will ride a Mongolian two-humped camel for 1 hour and then start driving to the Bayanzag – Flaming cliff which is known as the “Land of Dinosaurs”. The area is a picturesque rich saxual forest that is world-famous for dinosaur remainings. Dinosaurs inhabited Bayanzag over 70 million years ago.
As you stroll on the land where dinosaurs once resided. You can also experience how their strong winds have sculpted areas of Bayanzag and how the cliff looks like flaming during sunset.
After lunch and quality of time in Bayanzag, we will drive back to Dalanzadgad.

After breakfast, we will take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Our guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and start a tour to Terelj national park.
First, we will visit the Chinggis Khan equestrian statue. 40 meters tall stainless statue complex has a wax museum, calligraphy corner, and souvenir shops. You can climb up to the horse neck and enjoy a panoramic view of the land. Also, you will have a chance to take a picture with hunter eagles, and falcons there. After lunch, we will drive to Terelj national park.
After visiting the symbol of the national park, turtle rock, viewpoint Ariyapala meditation temple we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar.

1.Travelers are required to have proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 either, recovery or a negative COVID-19 test certification or any kind of valid documents. Children aged 6-17 must present.
- Proof of vaccination status (for children who are eligible); or
- Proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or lateral flow) conducted no more than 72 hours before your tour; or
- Proof of recovery from COVID-19 (a medical clearance certificate from a medical professional) dated no more than 9 months before your tour.
3. Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our driver will pick you up from the airport or train station and take you to your hotel. On this day depending on your arrival time city tour is available. And the last day of your tour our driver will take you to the airport, and a city tour is not included.
4. A single supplement is available if you want to use a room just for yourself. If you want a single supplement please make an inquiry with our booking manager. The single supplement is 70$ per night.
