Overview
Explore the Mongolian Gobi desert and Enjoy the Naadam festival. On this tour, you can visit the Tsagaan suvarga, Lammergeier valley, Khongor sand dunes, Bayanzag, and the Naadam festival without missing any top destinations of Mongolia. Tour will continue for 11 days and you can learn about Mongolian culture, history, and way of life as well. Mongolian Naadam Festival is held 10-12th of July annually nationwide which makes July the highest season for tourism. You can enjoy the opening ceremony of Naadam, Deeltei Mongol, or “Traditional clothing parade” and men’s three games – wrestling, archery, and horse racing.

Tour itinerary
On the first day of your trip, you will arrive in Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia. We will pick you up from the airport, you will be greeted by our staff and depending on your arrival time, a city tour is available.

On the first day of your tour, we will travel to one of the most famous areas of the Mongolian Gobi, Tsagaan suvarga in other words – the White Stupas it is located in DundGobi province, Mongolia. Tsagaan suvarga is a 30-meters high, abrupt, stupa-shaped cliff. The Area was the bottom of the ocean in millions of years ago and today you can see red, yellow, orange, and purple layers there in the cliff.

On the second day of your tour, we will drive to Yoliin am, also called Eagleor or lammergeier Valley. We will pass through the Dalanzadgad, which is the biggest city in the Mongolian Gobi region. After some city tour, we will continue to drive Yoliin am, which is located 60km from the city. After reaching the main entrance of Yoliin am, we will visit a small natural history museum at the entrance then will drive a little further to the valley. Once reaching the parking spot either we will ride a horse or walk through the canyons of Yoliin am.

Today we will drive to Khongor sand dunes or singing dunes. Khongor sand dunes are the biggest sand dunes in Mongolia, reaching a height of 300 meters. Climbing up to the Khongor sand dunes might be tiring but once you get to the top you can enjoy the whole scenery, and all hardships that you faced while climbing up will be replaced by the mesmerizing views.
Tips: It is better to climb barefooted, and keep your phone and camera in a safe bag to protect from the sand. Do not forget to bring some water. The best time to climb up to the sand dunes is sunrise or sunset.
Plus, to make your Gobi desert experience even more unique, we will ride on a Mongolian camel near the sand dunes.

After breakfast, we will drive to Bayanzag, also known as Flaming Cliffs where the first nest of dinosaur eggs was ever discovered in 1922. You can enjoy walking around the same place as 60 million years ago dinosaurs were roaming around. You may even spot dinosaur fossils if you look for them thoroughly. In the evening, photoshoot flaming cliffs and watch a documentary about this wonderful place.

Today we will visit Mountains Baga Gazriin Chuluu, located in Dund Gobi province. An exquisite rock formation that looks like legos stacked on top of each other, Baga Gazariin Chuluu is one of the must-visit places in the Mongolian Gobi.
While you visit there you can spot wild sheep, ibexes, mammals, rare rodents, and old stone temple ruins that date back to the 17th century.

Today we will drive back to Dalanzadgad city and take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Once you arrive at the airport our staff will take you to the Terelj national park. In Terelj national park you will visit the symbolic Turtle rock and Ariyapala meditation temple.

After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar, visit Sukhbaatar square and attend Deeltei Mongol “Mongolians in Deel” traditional clothing festival. Then we will visit the most famous sites of Ulaanbaatar city, including Choijin Lama temple museum and Zaisan hill.

Today is the chance to soak up yourself in a Naadam festival atmosphere. We will attend the Naadam festival opening ceremony. After that, we will drive to the Mongol nomad’s tourist camp and will attend the Mongolian nomadic show.

Today we will see the horse racing festival at Khui Doloon Khudag where horse racing will take place. You can enjoy horse races, food courts, and more. After lunch, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. In Ulaanbaatar, you will enjoy traditional folklore concerts and shopping for souvenirs.
Last day, our staff will take you to the airport end of the day.

1.Travelers are required to have proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 either, recovery or a negative COVID-19 test certification or any kind of valid documents. Children aged 6-17 must present.
- Proof of vaccination status (for children who are eligible); or
- Proof of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR or lateral flow) conducted no more than 72 hours before your tour; or
- Proof of recovery from COVID-19 (a medical clearance certificate from a medical professional) dated no more than 9 months before your tour.
3. Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our driver will pick you up from the airport or train station and take you to your hotel. On this day depending on your arrival time city tour is available. And the last day of your tour our driver will take you to the airport, and a city tour is not included.
4. A single supplement is available if you want to use a room just for yourself. If you want a single supplement please make an inquiry with our booking manager. The single supplement is 70$ per night.
